I've recetnly started a blog for All-Time, All-Franchise, All-Star Teams. So far I've done the Modern All-time Red Sox (1950-2009), the Classic All-Time Red Sox (1901-1949) and the Modern All-Time Tigers (1950-2009).

It's a bit OT, but I'd love to hear what any Sox or Tiger's fans think of my picks. (It can be found on all-time-teams.blogspot.com.)

ranking dave's games

how would you rank dave's games? here is my order.

1 - basketball
2 - football
3 - baseball

what's interesting is that basketball is actually my least favorite sport of the three, but i truly think dave's basketball game is his best product. i like and play them all, though.

hockey is actually my favorite sport, so it will be interesting to see how that ranks once action! pc hockey is released.

looked in manual and couldn't seem to locate what its trying to tell me........Ok-1 (I assume the player is OK but what do the numbers following the dash mean?).......* (they need rest???)

Playoff dysfunctions

I tried to test the playoffs by copying a database, and then seeding (8 teams - 4 per conference) & playing games on the Playoff Form. I checked Update Stats, set the pairings, & played the games Instant with computer coaches. But no stats show up anywhere - nothing in Team Stats, Leaders, or anything. I can replay game films, but how do I even find box scores? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

I know this has nothing to do with sims, but I just heard that the University of Detroit will no longer carry their games on radio, but will opt for viewing their games on the internet. This is the second example of teams I used to listen to on radio, that are turning away from radio in favor of online viewing. Now im all for technology, but hey, people cannot carry the internet with them wherever they go. listening to games on radio allows me to listen wherever I am. in the car, at work, or...

Run-time error '75': Path/File access error

I was simply playing computer VS computer and watching the game as a spectator in regular mode and now the game is crashing. The error note is Run-time error '75': Path/File access error
It does not even save the game so I can resume it. I have the latest patch. It works ok in instant mode.
Any suggestions?
Im running Windows XP.

In the Navy the term skuttlebutt refers to a water bucket, water cooler or drinking fountain. Sailors would gather around it during a break and exchange news and gossip.

So does anyone have any news or gossip about the hockey game?

Has it gone into beta testing?

Any ideas about what teams or seasons would be available?

2009 Baseball Holiday Festival Tournamen w/BB 2010

Sign up here if you are interested. Last year we ran a successful 16 team tournament that started the day of the new release. We will again do it this year. The goal with this is to really give the new game a run for it's money, so we can find anything that might need tweaking + we get to play online in a competitive environment.
