I played an exhibition game last night and my TE Scheffler went down for 6 games. He missed 3 in real life.
Also, there was and extremely high occurance of players tiring during the game.
Has this been a problem for anyone else?

Injury "frequency" gone? |

Has the choice of injury frequency been replaced by "Realisitc Multi-Game Injuries"? Based on earlier reports that Injuries seem to be up in this
version, this is a concern. We were going to set our league to "Low Frequency" to dampen the effect, but I cannot find that choice and I'm
assuming it's gone. Am I correct?

Although i am new to the game, this has'nt been an issue yet,in fact in the opener Wash-Nyg no one received games missed injuries.Being a new player, could
you explain why the line for games is always Even, although I have homefield checked in rules.

Bill is it guys who missed one game getting hurt for the remainder of games over and over? i had issue with edge who missed one game a few years back getting
hurt for the remainder of like 6 games missing for me way more time than he did in real life
You couldn't squeeze a USC comment in there somewhere???

well, there always used to be too few injuries. since no one ever missed more games than real, and lots of guys would miss none that should miss a few or even
more. so, i would say there are 'more' injuries this year, but that it is finally closer to realistic.

Butch Davis wrote: I'd agree with this assessment. Many guys who missed games never got injured and sometimes those who did, did not miss enough games. I have noticed injuries occur more often at the beginning of the season, perhaps because nobody has been injured yet. After the first half dozen games there aren't as many injuries.

Bill, We played a number of exhibition games and the injuries were excessive, albeit on a small sample size. Vitually every game of probably around 10-12 had someone go out for more games than he missed in real. We didn't realize the injury function had been changed until after our draft was completed. Would have completely changed all of our draft strategies. In years past, we could count on a guy not exceeding his NFL games missed. Unrealistic? You bet. But with 24 50 man rosters and a tight salary cap, we sort of depended on that info. Moreover, for us, the game is more fun to play when the players you like are on the field. Looks like I will be manually adjusting a number of players each week. Bill |

Bill its not realistic but maybe you can ask guys what say 3 games they want player A to miss then injure him accordingly. a more realistic approach would be
to ask each team for the injury list on Monday ??
