I'm replaying the 1965 World Series using the teams from the 2009 Championship collection.
I'm using actual rosters and pitching matchups.

LOS ANGELES 12, MINNESOTA 3
The Dodgers took a 6-1 lead after 4 innings, knocking starter Mudcat Grant out of the game after 3 innings pitched, then blew the game open with a 5-run 5th inning.
Surprisingly, Los Angeles used the long ball as its main weapon. Lou Johnson, John Roseboro, and Willie Davis each hit a 2-run home run in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th innings, and Don Drysdale hit one with no one on base in the 5th. Drysdale's and Davis' homers came off Dave Boswell, who relieved Grant and surrendered 6 runs in only 2 innings of work.
The Twins got a solo HR by Jimmie Hall in 9th inning.

LOS ANGELES (1-0) 3, MINNESOTA (0-1) 4
The Twins fell behind the Dodgers 3-2 in the 9th inning but scored twice in their half of the 9th to win the game and even the series at a game apiece as the series heads to Dodger Stadium.
Tony Oliva went for 5 for 5 and drove a run, and Zoilo Versalles had 2 singles and a solo homer in the 3rd inning.
Willie Davis connected for his second HR of the series with no one on base in the 6th inning for Los Angeles off starter Jim Kaat.
The goat of the game was Maury Wills, whose error allowed 2 unearned Minnesota runs score.

MINNESOTA (1-1) 3, LOS ANGELES (1-1) 4
The Dodgers used a 3-run 4th inning and an additional run in the 6th to take a 4-2 lead into the 9th inning. Tony Oliva's RBI single brought Minnesota to within a run, but the Twins got no further as Los Angeles took a 2-1 lead in the series.
Lou Johnson had 2 doubles and 2 RBIs for the Dodgers, and Don Mincher hit a solo homer in the 4th for Minnesota.

MINNESOTA (1-2) 2, LOS ANGELES (2-1) 3
Don Drysdale's 2-run homer in the 7th inning was the difference as the Dodgers now have the Twins down 3-1 in the series with Sandy Koufax starting Game 5.
RBI singles by Harmon Killebrew and Tony Oliva had Los Angeles trailing 2-1 in the 6th inning prior to Drysdale's clout.
