Played a tournament using the newly released Super Bowl "super teams". Auto played until the championship game, which pitted the 1967 Green Bay Packers against the 1989 San Francisco 49ers.

Green Bay jumped out to a 14 - 0 lead, and led 21 - 3 at the half, totally outplaying the Niners. S.F. closed the gap to 21 - 10 at the end of 3 quarters. Chandler kicked a 41 yard field goal with 43 seconds left in the game to take a 24 - 18 lead. S.F. had closed to 21 - 18 late in the 4th quarter on a 19 yard Montana TD pass to Wilson. The drive was highlighted by a pass for first down from Montana on 4th down and 16 yards to go. If the 49ers didn't make the first down Green Bay probably could have run out the clock with one or two first downs.

S.F. has the ball on their own 30 with less than 30 seconds left. Montana completes an 11 yard pass. Then, with 11 seconds left Joe hits Jerry Rice on the left sideline, and Jerry carries it in for a 59 yard TD. Cofer's XP makes it 25 - 24. Green Bay takes the ensuing kickoff to their own 30, but Starr's Hail Mary falls incomplete. Game over.

Montana finishes 22 for 35, for 297 yards, 3 TDs and no int. Green Bay sacked Montana 4 times for 30 yards. Joe is named the game's MVP.  Bart Starr is also excellent, finishing with a 135.8 QB rating, throwing for 214 yards and 2 TDs and no int.

Really enjoyed this one! Exciting comeback. Excellent play by both teams with zero turnovers.
