First the near upset. Decided to try and lead Duquesne past Pittsburgh in this cross town rivalry. 08-09 was
the first time I can remember Duquesne ever having a good team (9-7 21-13) Think they might even be better
this coming season as they were a very young team last year.

Thought we had Pitt but failed to shut the door on them. Had a 76-69 lead with only 1:19 remaining and
they stormed back to force OT and then the Panthers prevailed 94-93. The AI fouled with I think 1.3 seconds
left and holding a 3 PT lead which was a smart move. DeJuan Blair had 19 pts and 15 rb's and Sam Young had 31 points.

Duquesne stayed in the game by launching 3's going 14 of 28 (apparently moving the line back didn't
bother them) Bill Clark had 31 points and 6 bombs and Sr. Aaron Jackson had 25 pts.

Then on December 3 on the 08-09 replay we have a pre-play of the real life National Championship.
The game was amazingly accurate.......no lie.
