In my first attempt at a season, my Toronto Unionmen were 17-3 after 20 games and we were firing on all cyclinders. Then I discovered my schedule was messed
up, so I restarted with a new more complete schedule. Now it's May 10 and my boys are 14-16, 5 games back of the first place 1927 Yankees in the AL East,
with Walter Johnson and the 1924 Washington Senators 2 and a half games back in 2nd place. The Halifax Hawks (based on a core of the 1920 Cleveland Indians)
are breathing down our necks and The Philadelphia Athletics and Red Sox are battling for the cellar. (The AL West consists of the Pittsburgh Crawfords,
Cleveland Indians, St.Louis Browns, Chicago Whitesox, Hamilton Ironmen, and Ty Cobb's last-place (1908) Detroit Tigers.
Maybe I should have left things alone......
